PETROLHEAD… is NOT about petrol! So why call a perfume PETROLHEAD?. Good question, read on.

I love Formula 1 but not because I am a petrolhead in the traditional sense of the word. I love it for the glamour, the excitement, the adrenaline, the speed, the hum and buzz, the vibrations you feel through your feet. I love speed, I love sport, I love being outdoors, I love excitement.. I wanted to design a perfume that made me feel all that when I wore it.  To make me feel strong and alive. PETROLHEAD is that Perfume.

PETROLHEAD is usually defined as a car fanatic – but if you asked why people like cars fanatically they would not say because cars are a lump of metal and run on petrol. The answer would be as varied and as personal as my list above. It is the inspiration behind the car that drives the devotion. It is a strong word that inspires action and that is why I chose it.

BYKATHRYN redefines a PETROLHEAD as a woman, in fact anyone, who writes their own rules and does things their way, living life to the full in the moment. Mindfulness at full throttle.

Opens with a fresh blend of citruses in the top notes, followed with a heart of conifers and jasmine, underpinned by smooth and spicy amber style notes giving depth and warmth.

PADSTOW ROCKS
For Globetrotting

PADSTOW ROCKS… IS all about Cornwall! And of course it is much more than that.

I love Padstow and Rock and all things coastal especially Cornwall, born from memories of childhood holidays and carefree days.. I now live inland and love the beech woods near my home but my soul misses the sea. When I visit the coast and smell the sea breeze a kind of magic envelops me and I feel both at peace and invigorated at the same time. The stresses of everyday life ebb away just as the sea ebbs at low tide.

So PADSTOW ROCKS perfume is my way of bringing the sea vibe with me where ever I go. When I wear it I invoke that carefree beach (not beech!) feeling, instantly transported to wonderful cliff top walks. Deep breaths of a gentle breeze carrying summer scents of wild flowers, salty sea spray and woody coves…all in an ozonic spritz!

When you wear PADSTOW ROCKS you are carried to wherever your happy place is and reminded of carefree days – high days and holidays.

Opens with grassy and citrus top notes, followed by a salty ozonic and floral heart, underpinned by cedarwood base notes, reminiscent of coastal breezes.

For Big Thinking

For ages I layered PETROLHEAD & PADSTOW ROCKS perfumes, liking how they complemented each other on my skin settling into something more. I began thinking what if I actually made a blend of the two.

So MORE THAN SUM Perfume came about. A blend of the two but more than the sum of the parts.

This is a complex perfume that takes you on a sensory journey. I call it my big thinking perfume as it is inspiring. Go large or go home!
